Mike Metzger, back in action
It has been quite some time since Mike has flipped a dirtbike. Well, ever since he broke his back while filming Stunt Junkies for Discovery Channel. But Mike is back and ready to tear it up. Mike just picked up a sponsorship from 74 Motosports with a new YZ250. To top it off, he just signed a deal to compete in the X-Pilots tour in Mexico. Check back for more details about the X-Pilots event.
In the mean time, check the very first back flip Mike has done since his accident back in January 2007.

Nice to see the O.G. back. I'm a friend of Kenny Bartram and was at the Charlotte Speedway in May '06.I was filming the late night practice with Metz, Lusk, Ox and others. Metzger under rotated a flip and slamed into a parked semi. I thought he was dead or would not be getting up. About 5 mins later he stood to the cheers of the Nascar drivers and the Chilli Peppers. This dude is the real deal. and oh yea I ride without my visior.
